Da Costakade 102, Amsterdam

De Nieuwe Liefde is situated at the Da Costakade in Amsterdam. This historic building has been converted while retaining its period features, and now serves as the base of operations for the Stichting De Nieuwe Liefde foundation.

Keizersgracht 102, Amsterdam

Behind the facades of three stately and centuries-old canal houses on Keizersgracht is the largest clandestine church in the Netherlands. In recent years de Rode Hoed has developed to become an independent cultural debating centre with a broad programme, in which weekly church services are still held as well. Together with six smaller rooms, this clandestine church makes de Rode Hoed an ideal venue for gatherings of various kinds.

Keizersgracht 324, Amsterdam

The Felix Meritis culture house, with its characteristic neoclassical facade on Keizersgracht, was taken over in 2014 from Amsterdam municipality. This listed building, with its rich history, will be closing its doors for a major refurbishment in 2017. After that, the ‘House of Enlightenment’ will be able to welcome the public and businesses again in its full glory. Until that time, debates, exhibitions, theatre, film and music will be programmed from ‘Felix Meritis in Scaffolding’, and firms and private individuals will be able to go there for a range of events.

Kloveniersburgwal 50, Amsterdam

The Compagnietheater was purchased so that the building could remain the permanent base of the Theatercompagnie. Designed in 1793 by city architect Abraham van der Hart, the building reflects the classical style that was fashionable at that time. The building was used as a church until 1956 and for various other purposes since then.

Mauritskade 61, Amsterdam

In Amsterdam Oost, next to the Tropenmuseum, on the edges of the Oosterpark and close to Artis Zoo, we are working hard on a second Pillows hotel in the capital. Without compromising on the history, the building will be modernized in 2019 and converted into a Pillows hotel, so that it does justice to modern times. If the hotel is expected to open in 2020, it offers 98 comfortable and stylishly designed rooms and suites.

Hemkade/Noordzeekanaal, Zaandam

At a stone’s throw from Amsterdam, in an iconic and elegant building on the banks of the North Sea Canal is a former bullet factory. Once radical renovations have been completed, you will be able to stay in the former bullet factory for twenty-four hours: sleep, eat and immerse yourself completely in art. Between now and the official opening, the project will unfold towards the public in phases via unique contemporary art projects.

Stationsweg 9, Zwolle

The eclectic-style monumental building of the current Pillows Grand Hotel Ter Borch in Zwolle dates from 1879 and has been owned by Amerborgh since 2014. After a large-scale refurbishment and extension of the restaurant, the new hotel concept Pillows Hotels in Zwolle was introduced at the end of 2017. Pillows Grand Hotel Ter Borch is housed in the former 19th-century police station.

Place Rouppe 17, Brussel

In 2015, Amerborgh bought the stately and monumental building at Rouppeplein 17 in Brussels, in which the Sandton Hotel Place Rouppe was already located. At the end of 2017 a large-scale renovation took place, which also introduced the Pillows Hotels concept in Belgium. Pillows Grand Hotel Place Rouppe is located in the heart of Brussels, in the charming Place Rouppe, with a lovely sunny terrace.

Hoogstraat 36, Gent

Since 2011 Sandton Hotels in Ghent has been housed in this beautiful monumental building with courtyard in the center of Ghent. After the acquisition of the property by Amerborgh in 2017, plans were made to restyle and renovate the hotel into a hotel that fits the Pillows Hotels concept. The Ghent hotel, which has 158 rooms and suites, will also have the Living, an espresso bar, restaurant LOF with a terrace in the courtyard, a wellness area and various salons and meeting rooms.

Bredabaan 104-106, Maria ter Heide

The Bellenhof estate and castle is in Maria ter Heide (close to Antwerp, Belgium). The objective is to develop a care concept on the estate with a variety of facilities including a restaurant, hotel, care and medical facilities, conference facilities, apartments and hotel services.
